I think Manchester city will win everything,shame really as I grew up with the exciting FA cup and it was always eagerly awaited.I still have nightmares about Hereford and Ricky George.

Rolling out the same old lines about the devaluation of the FA Cup every season is getting a little tedious now (and Sold hasn't even arrived yet) that's how football is now, you aint gonna change it by saying the same thing time after time.
But as said, plenty still take it seriously and I bet you a bollock to a dollar that 'Pep' will be all out to win this.
Should be a good game this, with us coming through with a narrow win.

I think its mainly the bottom teams who disregard it in exchange for Premier League survival.
However, Man Utd. were the biggest culprits the year they withdrew

They've been undermining the meaning of the FA CHALLENGE Cup since 1873.
The "challenge" bit originally meant everyone but the holders themselves played off for the right to meet the holders in the final, and the holders only played in the final itself.
This only actually happened in 1872-3 (obviously it couldn't happen in 1871-2, as there wasn't a holder in the first competition).
